Water Harvesting Tanks

We funded a well in a remote area of northern Argentina which provided water for a rural school for sometime until a severe drought reduced the water aquafers to such an extent that the water being pumped became too salty to drink! 

 What a disaster this was for the school whose water was shared by the village and used to nourish trees & vegetables.  

Working with our partners APAER based in Buenos Aires, CDUK were able to provide the school with water harvesting tanks to collect the heavy winter rains for use in the dry season.
