"The syringe drivers are a small pump that gives continuous flow of medication to help manage symptoms like pain and sickness for our oncology patients on Ward D9 at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge. We also give the bags to our Teenage & young adults ward C9 oncology" says Rachel the Ward Clerk of D9.
The bags - which help to identify and store patients Syringes are running out and replacements are required urgently. "It makes so much difference to our patients for them to have their own bag to store and identify their equipment" says Rachel.
